Tegan Lynch

Hall of Fame Class of 2005

Tegan Lynch (class of 1995) – Tegan was a two-sport star at Aptos, excelling in both basketball and volleyball. In volleyball, Tegan was an All-League performer on the 1992 SCCAL, CCS, and Nor Cal championship team. During her senior year, Tegan was a team captain, she was the SCCAL MVP, she was All-CCS and All-Nor Cal, she was honored as a high school All-American, and Volleyball Magazine selected her as one of the top 50 prep players in the nation. She was also selected to play in the West vs, United States All-American All-Star Classic. Tegan was also captain of her club team, Team Mizuno, which won the national championship in 1994. After Aptos, Tegan played volleyball at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned All-Big 12 honors and All-Big 12 Academic honors. In 1998, Tegan was named to the All-American team. Tegan holds several NCAA tournament records, as well as virtually every University of Colorado record for a right-side hitter. She was selected to the All-NCAA Regional Tournament team in both 1997 and 1998. Tegan graduated from Colorado with a degree in Architecture and Design. She is married to NFL player Brody Liddiard, and they have one child, Mia. Tegan was presented into the Hall by her father Frank.
