Aptos GWP will host tryouts, also called Paradise Week, from August 7th - August 11th. The main focus of Paradise Week is team bonding and conditioning. All of the girls practice together during this. Varsity and JV rosters will be announced at the end of the week. NO girls will be cut from the program. Details for Paradise Week are listed below.

Paradise Week (8/7 - 8/11)

• Practice time: 4 PM - 6 PM
• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: Practices will consist of dryland during the first hour and swimming the last hour. Wear athletic apparel and running shoes for dryland. Bring a swimsuit, goggles, and towel for the pool.
• Thursday and Friday: Practices will be in the pool the entire time.

Every player needs to have a valid physical on file with the school before tryouts. Get it completed and turned in ASAP.

This summer the Aptos Girls Water Polo team will be doing off-season training. These practices will be offered to current Aptos players, students who want to try water polo out, and incoming freshman that want to play. The summer program will be about six weeks long and we'll practice four days a week in the morning. The main focus of it will be to scrimmage a lot, have fun, and build team chemistry. These practices are voluntary and not required, however all girls who are serious about playing in the fall are encouraged to participate. Details for the program are listed below.
